Anele Lundborg was born in the small town of Klerksdorp in South Africa's North West province. After almost a year working as a TV Host and writer for Urban Brew Studios in South Africa, she moved to the USA in 2014 to study acting for film and television. It is during this time that Anele's love for writing and directing grew as she learned just how collaborative the jobs of writer, director and actor are. 

Anele later went on to work as a voice actor for productions such as Black Panther 1 & 2, Avengers: Endgame, Star Trek, McGyver, Horizon Forbidden West (a Playstation game) and more. In 2021 Anele and her brother Andile Ngcizela co-wrote the treatment for the original series DRUMMIES which was selected for Netflix's episodic lab in South Africa. Prior to that, Anele wrote, directed and acted in her first short film, Longing For Eden, which was selected for the Holly Shorts monthly screeners and was screened at the historical TCL Chinese theater in Hollywood; you can watch the short here.

Anele continues to work as an actor, producer, writer and director through her creative agency CALM Collective which she co-owns together with her husband Corban Lundborg. She enjoys reading, going on hikes with friends, learning new recipes and splits most of her time between running her creative agency and taking care of her home in Atlanta, Georgia.
